James undertook his training as an Occupational Therapist through Auckland University of Technology, and on completion was awarded a Bachelor of Health Science (Occupational Therapy). After a period of time in the work force within the construction industry and the roading sector James entered the field of vocational rehabilitation. He enjoys the variety that his role offers and the opportunity to visit a number of differing work sites. He portrays a positive attitude and displays empathy while remaining goal focused in returning individuals to work. James is a member of the New Zealand Association of Occupational Therapists, and is registered and holds a current practicing certificate with Occupational Therapy Board of New Zealand.
