Paula has vast experience within the rehabilitation sector in leading and managing teams and has held positions of responsibility within this sector. Work and life experiences have resulted in a highly effective practitioner who values high levels of professionalism and adheres to professional boundaries and ethics. She demonstrates highly developed assessment skills, including crisis and acute assessment skills, and displays exceptional communication skills, enabling her to build a rapport with a variety of individuals across a broad spectrum of the community. Post tertiary training, Paula has actively participated in professional development training and is proficient in the use of Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT). Paula in completing tertiary training was awarded a Bachelor of Science (Occupational Therapy), is an active member of the New Zealand Association of Occupational Therapists, and is registered and holds a current practicing certificate with Occupational Therapy Board of New Zealand.
